A boutique studio built for people who believe where you are shapes what you do.
Cove Collective was built by an interior designer who got tired of beautiful design being reserved for private homes. Maria Williams has spent decades building those homes through her studio Cove Custom, and she wanted to give the women in her community somewhere that felt the same. A boutique studio in Herndon, Virginia, designed to be lived in, worked in, and gathered in.

Maria Williams
Maria is the founder of Cove Custom, Northern Virginia's boutique interior design and cabinetry studio, and the creative force behind Cove Collective. She built this space because she believes the environments we work in shape how we think, connect, and grow, and that designers, entrepreneurs, and creatives deserve a place that reflects that. Cove Collective is her answer to a question she kept hearing from clients: "Where can I find a space that feels like this outside my home?"

Kim brings warmth, precision, and genuine care to everything she touches at Cove Collective. An educator, a mom of three, and someone who believes life is better when it's lived with intention. She's the person who makes sure every event runs seamlessly and every gathering leaves people feeling like something real happened here. Come experience it for yourself, you'll be glad you did.
WHERE IT BEGAN
Born out of Cove Custom.
Cove Collective grew out of Cove Custom, Maria's interior design studio creating timeless, livable interiors across Virginia and beyond. The studio specializes in kitchen and home renovations, cabinetry design, and curated furnishings, working with homeowners and builders alike to create spaces that are functional, warm, and uniquely personal.

That same philosophy shapes everything here. At Cove Custom, every project begins with listening, and the goal is always a space that feels intentional, balanced, and personal. Cove Collective is what happens when that approach is opened up to the wider community: a place designed with the same care Maria brings to private homes, so anyone can spend a day somewhere genuinely beautiful.
