Our Story
A boutique studio built for people who believe where you are shapes what you do.
Cove Collective was built by an interior designer who got tired of beautiful design being reserved for private homes. Maria Williams has spent decades building those homes through her studio Cove Custom, and she wanted to give the women in her community somewhere that felt the same. A boutique studio in Herndon, Virginia, designed to be lived in, worked in, and gathered in.

Collective Lead and Founder
Maria is the founder of Cove Custom, Northern Virginia’s boutique interior design and cabinetry studio, and the creative force behind Cove Collective. She built this space because she believes the environments we work in shape how we think, connect, and grow and that designers, entrepreneurs, and creatives deserve a place that actually reflects that belief.
Cove Collective is her answer to a question she kept hearing from clients: “Where can I find a space that feels like this outside my home?”

Kim brings warmth, precision, and genuine care to everything she touches at Cove Collective. An educator, a mom of three, and someone who believes life is better when it’s lived with intention. She’s the person who makes sure every event is seamlessly run, every member feels seen, and every gathering leaves people feeling like something real happened here. Four-Season Solarium
A sun-filled glass room with lounge seating for 6, string lights, and a cozy faux fireplace — perfect for relaxed work sessions, client meetings, or creative gatherings year-round.
Main Work Room
Open, beautifully designed workspace anchored by an exposed brick wall. Includes two large conference tables — one seats 4, one seats 6 — plus a banquette seating area for 4.
Private Zoom & Call Room
A dedicated quiet room for video calls, phone meetings, or focused solo work without interruption.
Two Dedicated Desks
Reserved individual workstations for members who need a consistent, personal setup.
Design Studio Island
The island in the design studio is available as an additional meeting space when booked — ideal for small group work, creative sessions, or overflow seating.
